Privacy Policy

Tsubasa Legal Document Services (hereinafter referred to as "the Office") recognizes the importance of protecting personal information in the services provided on this website and complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. The Office hereby establishes the following Privacy Policy.

Article 1 (Definition of Personal Information)

"Personal Information" refers to "Personal Information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information; ie., information about an individual that can identify a specific individual through details such as their name, date of birth, address, phone number, contact information, and other descriptions. Article 3 (Measures for the Security of Personal Data)

To protect personal information, the Office implements measures based on its regulations for managing personal information, specifying methods for handling personal information, and preventing unauthorized access by third parties. These measures aim to prevent leakage, loss, alteration, or destruction of personal information.

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Data to Third Parties)

1. The Office will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the customer, except in the following cases or as permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws:

  • 1-1. When it is necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
  • 1-2. When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.

2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases do not constitute the provision of information to third parties:

  • 2-1. When the Office entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
  • 2-2. When personal information is provided due to the succession of business, such as through a merger.
  • 2-3. When personal information is jointly used with a specific entity, and the following details are either notified in advance to the individual or made easily accessible to them:
  • ・The fact that the information will be jointly used.
  • ・The items of personal information to be jointly used.
  • ・The scope of entities jointly using the information.
  • ・The purpose of use by those entities.
  • ・The name or title of the party responsible for managing the personal information.
